A Story Close to Home

For Episode 3 of Murdered On A Sunday, I chose a case that has always stayed with me.

I was born in Plattsburgh, New York. Although Dawn Svocak was murdered before I was born, her story was one I grew up hearing. My mother also knew people whose social circle crossed paths with Dawn’s, making this case feel especially close to home.
